Volunteer Corner

Activities, tours, events, etc. are quickly filling up our museum schedule for 2017! Visitation continues to be steady with both new and repeat visitors coming to learn about what we offer in the world of Wendish. With attention coming from publication features, Facebook, websites, TripAdvisor, historic preservation blogs, glowing reviews from visitors, etc., the Texas Wendish Heritage Society and Museum is being picked up on many folks’ radar.

With a full schedule for 2017, we will need volunteers in many capacities. There are a number of ways to be a volunteer. Of course, we always need docents, volunteers for tours, help with special activities and fundraisers. If it is not convenient for you as a member to volunteer for these, you can help by simply sharing information with your peers about our Society and Wendish heritage, or simply “like us” on Facebook!
