Note from the Executive Director

With another great Wendish Fest in the books, we move on with other exciting things. During the next quarter we will prepare for the holidays, welcome four new volunteers, continue fall gardening, host around a dozen tours, partner with tourism professionals to offer overnight tour packages for the Painted Churches of Texas, partner with the Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin to showcase Wendish heritage, expand our Wendish outreach, continue our volunteer partnership with students and staff of St. Paul Lutheran School, increase Texas Wendish Heritage Society and Museum online presence, AND believe it or not – start to plan Wendish Fest 2016! There is much to look forward to and much to be thankful for.
