Note from the Executive Director

Greetings! What a busy quarter we have had with visitors and events! We continue to have a significant number of tour groups – most requesting a meal (sausage, sauerkraut, homemade noodles, etc.), which is a real treat for them! Noodle sales are brisk and are anticipated to continue so through the holidays.

Our gift shop has wonderful new items – books, handmade crafts, Wendish caps, beautiful decorated eggs, etc. This year we will be offering holiday gift items.

TWHS participated in numerous promotional tourism events to invite visitors to our Museum. By sharing the compelling story of the Wends and the quality of our Museum, we welcome folks to come see us and learn more about the history, heritage and culture of the Wends.

We have one Museum Complex cat left from the two litters that took residence last year. “Gracie” is well fed in hopes she will stay and be our mouse patrol! Please stop in anytime to meet her and visit us – we always love to see you!
