Volunteer Corner

We happily say Witajće k’ nam to our newest “Noodle Lady” – Linda Jones. Linda and her husband Jack, reside near Serbin, and are members of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Linda follows in her mother’s footsteps as a noodle volunteer!

We also gratefully say THANK YOU to all Wendish Fest Volunteers. Wendish Fest is made possible through the dedicated folks who so willingly support our heritage festival. Every single effort is important and appreciated – whether it is preparation, promotion, cleanup, setup, booth work, demonstrating, take down, storing, recording, donating, sponsoring, presenting, labor & equipment, baked goods, etc., the list goes on. Many individual as well as group chores and activities help create a wonderful day to celebrate and experience Wendish history, heritage and culture. Our 28th annual on Sunday, September 25, 2016 was a great day even though weather conditions were questionable. Again, THANK YOU TO ALL WENDISH FEST VOLUNTEERS AND SUPPORTERS! We will appreciate hearing from you with comments, observations and suggestions for our 29th annual Wendish Fest planned for Sunday, September 24, 2017.

If you wish to become a volunteer, there are many opportunities – please contact us for more information. Thank you!
