Volunteer Corner

Volunteer-Corner-new-crew-720x960pxWe are so pleased to have a NEW GROUP OF VOLUNTEERS who have joined our “regulars” to assist with the assembling and mailing of our newsletters. 7th & 8th Grade students of St. Paul Lutheran School are fulfilling these responsibilities as a class project. They are joined by their teacher and Interim Principal Kim Droegemueller. Also assisting are James and Linda Tate of Serbin.

Preparation of our newsletter requires many hours and is very time sensitive. From input received – to Jan’s computer – to preparation for mailing – to the Post Office – to your mailbox, requires many minds and hands to meet newsletter deadlines.  The number of newsletters printed and prepared for mail out has increased to 1300.

A newsletter is an information connection with our membership to share current happenings and important activities of the Texas Wendish Heritage Society and Museum. Our newsletter is also a wonderful source of sharing Wendish History and Heritage with our worldwide audience.

We hope that you join us in truly appreciating ALL of our newsletter crew VOLUNTEERS. We thank ALL of our VOLUNTEERS and always welcome NEW VOLUNTEERS!
